An enjoyable cruise but it took hours to get everyone off at Phillip Island. We had priority but some people couldn't get off until 4 hours after we anchored at 8:15am. Makes it a very short visit when you need to be back on by 4pm. The food on the ship could be a lot better, and the bar service was quite slow at times. The suite was spacious.
Generally an enjoyable cruise. The suite was spacious, the service was good. But the food on P&O could be a lot better. The buffet really is pretty poor and even the restaurant food could have a lot more variety. The menu changes a lot less than on the previous cruise.
We had a great time on this river cruise despite Emirates losing our luggage, which we didn't get back until the last day of the cruise. Tracey was helpful when flights were cancelled in Dubai (this was mayhem) and we missed 2 days in Bucharest due to this. We got to the boat just in time. The cruise director, Roland, looked after dealing with our luggage ...read more and the hotel manager, Nicu, made sure our clothes were cleaned and returned to us in the morning. We were able to purchase clothes at the next port. This was our first river cruise. We thought there would be a lot of elderly on board but it was a good mix, but mostly retirees. Our french balcony room was great, cleaned daily and spacious. The food was nice and excursions enjoyable. We would definitely do another river cruise.
Highly recommend to combine the best of Greece with a Celestyal cruise, ideally after but either way will be well worth it. Overall taste of Greece, by Land and Sea.

All of the trip was good, using Ponant the first time was good, food, good and variety, all the trips that were arranged were as expected. Hannah our travel advisor at Global Journeys was excellent, always ready to help with anything .

The overall ...read more tour was well balanced, with the right amount of time spent exploring by ourselves, good hotels and food choices. The tour covered all the main attractions of the cities included. We highly recommend Global Travel who we continue to use for our holiday bookings. They are prompt, pay attention to detail and are always proactive. We would have no hesitation in recommending Global Travel, Travelmarvel or Great Train Journeys.
This was the trip we wanted to do pre Covid and have finally done it!. It was beautiful, sad and very informative. Such a beautiful country, great history but sad in that what happened there during WW 2. Wehad the best tour guide in Zsusan and our driver Sanitli. The hotels were all great and handy to the towns we stayed in. My only complaint was the ...read more Roomz hotel in Vienna, it was a nice room but you had to hire the jug and buy coffee - not good! Overall a great trip for history buffs.
Once again a lovely cruise with HAL. So much to see in Japan. Not very many sea days which suited us. Was nice then, when we had one and could takes a breather. Our travel organiser Tracey was again very helpful. Thank you.
My first ever European river cruise & I couldn’t have chosen a better company than Scenic. The ship Jasper and all the crew far exceeded my expectations. Nothing was too much trouble.
