We had a great time on this river cruise despite Emirates losing our luggage, which we didn't get back until the last day of the cruise. Tracey was helpful when flights were cancelled in Dubai (this was mayhem) and we missed 2 days in Bucharest due to this. We got to the boat just in time. The cruise director, Roland, looked after dealing with our luggage ...read more and the hotel manager, Nicu, made sure our clothes were cleaned and returned to us in the morning. We were able to purchase clothes at the next port. This was our first river cruise. We thought there would be a lot of elderly on board but it was a good mix, but mostly retirees. Our french balcony room was great, cleaned daily and spacious. The food was nice and excursions enjoyable. We would definitely do another river cruise.
Highly recommend to combine the best of Greece with a Celestyal cruise, ideally after but either way will be well worth it. Overall taste of Greece, by Land and Sea.

All of the trip was good, using Ponant the first time was good, food, good and variety, all the trips that were arranged were as expected. Hannah our travel advisor at Global Journeys was excellent, always ready to help with anything .
This was our first trip to Japan which we booked through Global Journeys and Travelmarvel. This was a trip managed by Great Train Journeys in the UK. The tour covered all the main attractions of the cities included. We highly recommend Global Travel who we continue to use for our holiday bookings. They are prompt, pay attention to detail and are always proactive. We would have no hesitation in recommending Global Travel, Travelmarvel or Great Train Journeys.
Once again a lovely cruise with HAL. So much to see in Japan. Not very many sea days which suited us. Was nice then, when we had one and could takes a breather. Our travel organiser Tracey was again very helpful. Thank you.
A nine day tour of the bucket list of NZ spectacular scenery including the Tranzalpine train to Arthur’s Pass, Queenstown steamer lake cruise and dinner, a spectacular scenic drive to a cruise on Milford Sound, and then on to Mt Cook Lake Tekapo and back to Christchurch. Will always travel with Trafalgar, one of the main reasons would be having a local as the tour director. I learn so much more. Ako san was an excellent guide. This was an amazing journey. My highlight was Mount Fuji and the blossom trees. Our accommodation was very good, the rooms were small but had everything in them you could possibly need.Our tour guide Mina was simply the best and often went above and beyond. Croatia and Slovenia are really worth going to - every location was so picturesque. Glad we went at the start of the season, which was already busy in key cities and attractions - it would've been very crowded during peak season. This tour allowed us to go to many locations in Croatia and Slovenia. Tour was well-organised and comfortable but hotel locations ...read more in Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik were well outside the Old Town areas in residential zones. This significantly reduced our food and shopping options if we didn't join the optional excursions. Tour pace was very slow, would have been good to have more options for those wanting to do more, especially at Plitvice Lakes.
